in wood street leading to the a4.saw a letter in the paper this week and they had quite a few sugesstions on how that could be eased .
how would you ease the traffic problem there?
i find it really bad there not only are you waiting ages but i have seen about 3 or four road rage incidents there .just the other day this woman was going of on one as i guess she had to wait to long to go through even though she didnt have no right of way.

Open the bit outside the kings arms and turn it into a large roundabout. Like the bridge centre in Chippenham.
Only problem with it will be for trucks. The adverse camber where they would turn towards Chippenham from between Jearys (or whatever its called now) and the kings arms would hugely increase the chance of a wagon going greasy side up. |

i always thought lorrys wernt allowed in the centre.
the signs are wrong in calne as on the by pass the town centre sign makes you go down school road.i have seen countless lorries go down there then have to turn around |

That would be an absolute disaster! The Kings Arms pedestrian area is great for walking in: the centre of Calne is not about having large lorries pass through it I think! The Bridge Centre in Chippenham is a terrible eyesore and an awful way to introduce people to the town, why repeat that mistake in Calne? |

new by pass what leads to cheril side of calne.
make is a one way coming in to calne then get out of calne using the by pass.
one thing i would do now though is return the lights on the zebra crossing .some one was having a luagh when they disigned that one. |
