but they have us over a barrol .we have no choise to be honest they can charge us what they want and we will have to pay it because we need it.
no wonder there is very few private garages now.
calne had what thomas, one by the soho and all closed they can not keep up with the demand once again the super markets are winning with the price of petrol.
tesco is you spend 50 pound you can have 5p off a liter which is hell of a lot making it around 107 there. |

| Bought a brand new Citroen C3 diesel last year and its averaging 60 miles per gallon and only£35 a year to tax. Horrible car but cheap to run. |

I took my Iveco Daily 35.08 to Tamworth at the weekend. It cost £65 in Diesel to do a 240 mile round trip.
That is 20mpg in my book. |

Makes me kind of Glad I don't have my Senator any more.
That had a 75 litre tank. It would cost me close to £100 to fill nowadays. It was £60 to fill when I had it. |

I went to London earlier today and one garage on the way was selling diesal at £1.24 per litre. This country is going to come to a halt pretty soon if nothing is done about this situation. Apparently the government is earning 1 million pounds every minute in tax from fuel duties - 66% of the price on fuel is tax.
What do we get for our money with all these taxes we pay? The roads are as pot-holed as the moon and they are even thinking about bringing out toll booths on motorways to create extra income. On top of that they are also penalising so called gas-guzzlers with an increased tax burden when there is already a perfectly fair system of taxation in place - use more fuel, pay more tax!!
The more we pay for our fuel the more everything else in this country rises in price. The increases will have to take place to cover the increases in transportation costs and so things start to snowball a little. How come America can sell fuel at less than half the cost we do and we are the ones getting shafted?? :? _________________
