|
|
Just in case anyone is reading from the Chippenham/Wiltshire area my mate has had his house broken into today (Derry Hill) and his black 5 door Golf Driver stolen (among other things).
The car is registration G946 DHF.
It's untaxed, uninsured and not MOTed, with what was decribed as 'a tea spoon of fuel' in it.
Anyone sees it, either post on here or ring the police.
Cheers,
Steve

They must have known the keys were in there.without being rude if i was a robber then i would steal something a bit newer and better than a golf.
it must have been someone who had either been in the houses or someone he knows. |

Not necessarily. Loads of people keep their keys "on a hook" by the back / front door (usually with Majorca on it). But thieves will try all the obvious places to find car keys (kitchen drawers etc).
It's like people who take the front off their stereo and think "I'll put it in the glovebox and close it, no-one will ever guess it's in there......"
Top tip - always take your stereo front with you and LEAVE THE GLOVEBOX OPEN.........
And - put your car keys in a random place in your house (not on a hook / in the kitchen drawer). |
