At Junior School I loved Spam Fritters and Jam Roly Poly to follow
At Secondary School I only had baked potato/chips/beans/pasty/sausage roll (a different combination of those foods each day) as I was quite a fussy eater and didn't like much of what they had to offer. _________________ aut viam inveniam aut faciam! |

| When you think the school budget per person for school dinner was probably only about 25p in the mid 80's when I was there, it does make you wonder what exactly you were eating for that paltry amount of money. Th greens were awful because they had been boiling for several hours and the chips were all hard. We used to spend our money down the chippy in Church Street - You do get fed up of chips every single day of the week after a while though. We used to get a portion of chips and some "batter bits" for an extra 10p to pad our dinner out a bit more. |

| schools still have a bad budget .always check for your kids if they get the food brought in from a certin firm beginning with s.if they do its crap food like turkey twizzlers  most schools realise this and normally have homemade food now.its a bit more expensive but its worth it. |
