we have a compost bin AND a green cone for waste food.
Green Cone:
http://www.greencone.com/promotions.asp
You can get one for about £20.
Put in ALL your waste food (including bones etc) and it will rot down to water and nothing else....
We've had ours a few weeks, its going well so far.
How do you get rid of grass cuttings? We only have a lawn, so the compost bin is full of grass cuttings and is turning into slurry... how do I stop this??? |

| We put ripped newspaper into our compost bin and mix it with grass clippings to give a more balanced compost. Some shredded cardboard works well if mixed also. |
