What plant is it ?

Its a Protea from South Africa. The seeds need a forest fire before they will germinate so you have to set light to the packet and sow the ashes. The hard bit is getting them to grow into a mature plant to flower.

Cant say I have. Where abouts in Wales is it because I went across the bridge at the weekend and may well have driven past it.
