Britney spears has been hounded by the press,The beckhams live with photographers outside there house every day.
Is it justified  just because they are in the public eye that they are subject to every aspect of there life being in the papers or does it serve them right for being famous.?

Neither - it's got to the point where I just can't be bothered to read or see anything more about them: they appear as complete vacuous media figurines which have no useful purpose in life I'm afraid.

the "celebs" use the press to help publicise themselfves and what they do.

David Beckham is a prime example. he is now a comodity rather than a football player (he has not been worth his place in the England team for many years) and his name sells millions of replica football shirts and other products. he has been happy for his name & image to used to do so and as a result earnt sums of money which the ordinary man in the street can only dream of.

that is a justification

I agree if the masses stopped buying the magazines and papers which report the "celebs" at play then we will not hear about it. its a shame even the BBC news reports have articles about them instead of serious news.

it will not change its justs another manifestation of modern consumerism.

You can't blame the public for that wretched "Beckhams in America" program, there was no need for it to have been created as a series. Frankly, who cares about their 'problems' in adjusting to US society?

Beckham earns more than all the people who stitch all the balls and all the shirts with his name and number on combined!

He worries about taking his kids to the park?  TOUGH!  There are people who stitch his profits who would LOVE a chance to be noticed and who would love to have time and energy to take their kids to a park, if they even have access to one!

Vacuous is a compliment for parasites.
