I cannot believe that Newcastle have made Kevin Keegan their new manager. They have just sacked a manager who has a reputation for building solid strong teams who was given no time whatesoever for any real team building, now they have re-employed a cavalier, tactic-shy no-hoper to replace him. It beggars belief. He will not be the manager by January 1st 2009 - and you can quote me on that!

  I watched the match live tonight on Setanta and Mr Keegan has certainly got a problem on his hands. The only toon players that shone were Milner, N'zogbia and occasionally Michael Owen. The others either wasted possesion and gave the ball away needlessly or didn't work for their team mates. You would have thought that having a new manager would have spurred them on a bit to get themselves noticed and ensure longevity at the club, instead most of them were just ghosts in a Newcastle shirt.

This is the 6700th post on Calnetalk.com by the way. Cool
