This is taken from a picture postcard we found in an old tin amongst other photographs. The postcard date is September 25th 1907 but obviously the photograph was taken earlier than the date written on it. Any ideas?

| It was the visit of King Edward VII & Queen Alexandra on 22nd July 1907. They stayed at Bowood and travelled home from Calne station. |

| No just that they were staying at Bowood and took the loyal address on the way to the station. Whatever a loyal address is. It appears the carriage belonged to Bowo. |
