On sunday it will be the 11/11.
Please remember the two minute silience at 11.ooam
Two minutes of your time is nothing compared to those who gave there life for you so you could live yours.
If it wasnt for these brave men and woman the life what we have in this country would not exsist.
The dangers they faced and the horror they saw we can only imagine.
so please wear your poppy with immense pride and remember those .
lest we forget.

Driving through the town this morning, it was so fantastic to see those getting ready for the many services being held throughout the town.
The age range was huge going from very old to people very young.
It was a trully excelent sight to see so many people coming together. It made me very proud of the people of Calne.and the community we live in.
Today was a day where we remember those who have died and fought in war.
To say thank you, to them for giving us freedom.
For those brave men and woman lived at a time which we could only try to imagine and hope to god that we will never have to experience.
Lest we forget. _________________ Regards

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields
