He started as a maths teacher, then became a Head of Year, before becoming Head of IT until he took ill health early retirement a number of years ago. I'm sure many old students will remember him as a Head of Year on South Wing in the late 70's and early 80's. He was a keen sportsman with a particular fondness for cricket and golf. I know he'll be sadly missed by all who knew him. |

When i was there he taught us computers in the varander on north wing.
He was quite a good teacher. |

The good old nimbus network.
He was my maths teacher from 2nd year till I left at john bentley. Cant remember who I had in first year. I remember I kept getting bumped up to the second set in maths. (out of  but did not like any of my fellow class mates so flunked to drop again. I know I was in top set in the first year. |

Thanks for letting us know, Grumpy. I had Mr Nock when I was in 3rd year I think. He was a good teacher who I think was well liked by his pupils. Sad news indeed. :cry:
