Chris Langham has been banged up for 10 months for child porn. He was originally arrested as part of Operation Ore which traced the credit card details of people who paid money to watch this sort of filth. There was a paedophile website based in Texas which was busted and all the documents/card details taken away for inspection. So far in this Operation Ore they have arrested senior military personell, Judges, actors, rock stars (one of them being a member of The Who plus a member from the Bay City Rollers) and other walks of life. I used to play golf with a bloke who was arrested and jailed in connection with Operation Ore. He was a senior manager in a plastics company with a wife and kids but was jailed for 18 months (9 months suspended) for having thousands of images on his computer plus video footage. And you must remember that these images are not just photos that have been saved, they are every photo that has ever appeared on your computer hard drive from any website that you have ever looked at - according to to an expert on Radio 4 the other week. So, if you have been trawling the net and happened to come across a slightly iffy website, just remember it's still hidden somewhere on your hard drive. :thumbup:

There are ways to clear off images you have viewed (by zapping you IE cache for example) but most people don't bother.
There's a different betwee one or two and thousands I think: also video-footage normally has to be downloaded explicitly, so no excuse really that it 'accidentally' got there. |

its amazing what gets stored on your computer.
although i dont agree in child porn.i do think theyt should be placed in a different catergory than those who has committed sexual acts with children.
there is a massive difference from someone who looks at the pictures and someone who actuly does it.
both are sick. |

| yes local lass there is a differance of looking at child porn to doing things with children ,but how would you feel knowing some pervert was getting a sexual thrill at looking at your childs picture ? people like that should have there bits chopped off then rub salt in there wounds . |
