I went to the first Guthrie school then Dunstans when it opened then onto the Green before Bentley. I must have missed Daves photo by a year. Would love to see 1969 if anyone has it. Remember a strange mix of hippies, skinheads and some very nerdy types. Had many detentions with strange essays dreamed up by the prefects. Never had another after my father threatened to throw the headmaster out of his office window I'd had a detention for dropping a pen. Remember we set up a rock band called Dirty Dog must have been the start of my love of live music.
Made a boat with Abdul Mitchel to sail to Chippenham can't remember ever getting there. Had great all night parties up on the White Horse remember singing Here comes the Sun at dawn. Remember a very loving french student at school who had to leave because she was very loving with several of us pupils. Great days!!

Yeah, Michael Freegard had a brother Derrick he was in my class. He's in the photo I posted (2B 1971) on the very left. I also worked with Michael when he was at the Landsdown Arms, Derry Hill. _________________ BOOTES |

Don't recall anyone called daffy, but went out with Lyn the chef. _________________ BOOTES |
