Shot number 2 (from penultimate batch) was using a flash gun. My camera is limited to a 16 sec exposure maximum. I managed to get the flash gun to flash 7 times to get that contrast. I am saving to get another flashgun wit another flash trigger to improve the contrast on that shot. Pic 5 (from penultimate batch) Was lit by 3 led based headlights (nova 3, stenlight, and a retro 2 upgrade) and the foreground light painted with a myo xp headlight and 3x flashes.
Last batch pic 2.
Light painted with 2 1,000,000 candle power torches. one to the left of the camera and one 20 meters ahead behind pillar on right.
Pic 3. Same lights. One to left of camera pointing down right passage, and one hidden behind central pillar pointing down the passage to the left.
Pic 5, light painted same torches. Only one on right has a battery going flat
Pic 7, light painted with one torch.
All pics on 16 sec exposure except pic 2 which was 10 secs.

I use them for exploring.
Some of the mines/quarry's in the area are used for various things. The old munitions storage at monkton farleigh, are used for data storage. The mine next door to ridge is owned by leafield engineering, who supposedly make warheads for missiles. The mod still own spring quarry which contains burlington, which is the decoy emergancy government seat in the event of nuclear war. Now abandoned but still the mod pay for its upkeep. Also in the area is tunnel quarry. Roumor has it that this is the uk's answer to area 51. Unlikely, but it was used for underground storage of mod equiptment. There are a couple of other mines in the area but are all unused now.
