The best ones are where you see a motorbike coming towards you on the other side then, as it passes you, you get the shock of your life to see it's actually a car with one headlight out.

A lot of people dont appear to notice that its getting dark, not turning any lights on until its fully dark. Please turn them on when the light starts to go.

Then there's the other drivers that go along with full beam on, and leaving it on. I guess they think that if it allows them to see more then thats all that matters. Never mind the fact it blinds drivers on the other side the road.

and a lot of moderns cars (mine is 19 years old) you can't change the bulb without removing the bumper, wheel or some other fundamental part.

The car designers should be SHOT.

My mate had to take his Citroen C5 to the dealers and they removed the bumper, and charged him £50........

if you go to Halfords then they will sell you a light bulb and fit it for a fiver. I had to change a couple 1 on my wifes Peugeot and 1 on my Citreon van. Its very quick and relatively cheap and if you are lucky, like I was on both occassions, it takes no more than 10 minutes.

I do get really annoyed at any time of day when its murky and vision is reduced that drivers do not switch on their lights. I always work on the basis of "see and be seen".

On my trusty Land Rover all you need to change a bulb is a Phillips screwdriver and five minutes of your time.

I've had a nightmare with lights already this year.

First my indicators started flashing twice the normal speed, so took it to the garage, cost £50 to get the problem with the fast flasing sorted (some sort of circuit problem).
Then found out I needed a new indicator bulb which cost another £10 to fit.

Worth it in the end though
