what was the calne college building on the green before it was a colllege?

it was a junior school, consisting of 3 parts (at least in my day) the college bit was the main school and there was a seperate boys and girls play grounds.
on the same side of the road up to the white hart there are 2 houses which if you look closely are differrent. one of them being on the end of the road.

i expected something like that or somesort of church.never knew or heard that there was a school up there.will try and find the houses .how many pupils did it used to have /

Perhaps before that ... wasn't the FE centre the girls school and the Building opposite the white hart (looks like a castle) the boys school.
