i love script books and have the complete scripts to most english comedys inc only fools and horss,blackadder,dads army,rising damp.

Kizzy did you watch the hogfather what was on around christmas ?i have never read any of his books but i quite liked that.

best james herbert book has to be suviver.also a classic was trhe fog i can under stand why it was banned when first published. :lol:

Yes I watched the Hogfather, it was fantastic kept very close to the book. I have every Discworld novel Terry Pratchett has written, calendars, diarys, figures, bookmarks, films (there were also 2 cartoon films done) pictures, badges, t-shirts, jewellery etc etc etc Roll eyes

(Now I sound like a complete freak :shock: )


One I liked of James Herbert was Others (nothing like the film) It was very interesting if some what warped

I have just finished reading his trilogy about Thomas Of Hookton - about a medieval archer and his quests - Harlequin, Vagabond and Heretic - They were fantastic and as you say he uses historical facts to mould his story around
