not reccomended if you have to young kids above 7 should be fine.
as there is a scence where the dead come alive from a lake and drag harry under.
on the whole it is ok.unfortunatley though its not a patch on the book .i feel with the films they have missed a great opputunity with out having the caracter peeves in the films.
this one is a bit darker than the others and the hormones of them is going around there is some funny stuff in there .

I enjoyed it as well and can understand why you wouldnt take a younger child. I took my 12 year old, and i have to admit i jumped once, eventhough i'd read the book.
As with all films based on bokks its not a patch, but certainly one of the better HP films
