I'm in this ward for voting.

I have seen lots of info from Alan but nothing from Glenis.

Does anyone know much about these two .... or if you see them could you ask them to comment on here and promote themselves.

At the moment i'm voting for Alan as i have seen him making an effort .......

Chepfer, Today's Gazette & Herald has profiles of most of the candidates for the council elections.

Alan Hill says: Having lived here for over 25 years, Alan hopes to continue his hard work as a town and district councillor for the benefit of Calne.

Glenis Ansell says: I'll champion Calne. We've survived one depression when harris' closed and we can do it again if we all pull together.

Chepfer, I am disappointed that you have not seen any literature from Glenis as I know she and her helpers has been working hard over the last 3 weeks.
Glenis was elected to the town council at the same time as Alan Hill for the Lickhill Ward and has worked very hard for local residents.
She was out untill 9o'clock last night canvassing. I will contact her and ask her to leave a comment.

I have reported on Alan Hill actions as a town councillor over the last 6 months and in particular his roll in the town councils decision to raise our town precept by 32% last November.
