wow what i a meal that was..as well as the normal menu they do a carvary for 695 a adult.a choise of two meats i had both which was beef and pork, which also had fantastic crackling  and relly big home made yorkshire puddings.
the veg is all fresh non frozen .you could have cheese cualiflower, swede, roast potatos, peas, red cabbage, carrots,
you could have as much veg as you liked.
for pudding i had creme brulee which was very nice if im honest would have prefered a little more vanilla in it .
for three adults, two kids ,two rounds of drinks the bill was 56 quid which was very reasonable.
please note they do not do a carvary on a sunday.
as for service  it was quick and theycould not do enough for you.

Blooming amazing!

4 of us.

starters:
I had chicken livers cooked with bacon and black pudding in lettuce. Very tasty.

My wife had prawn cocktail which was nothing special

mate had spicy italian sausage which he enjoyed

his G/F had camembert which she enjoyed.

Main courses:
I had pan fried breast of duck with plum and port sauce served on wilted spinach. Very very tasty, perfectly cooked and presented very well.

My wife had sea bass fillets which was very tender and tasteful.

mate had sirloin steak with chips and onion rings, which he enjoyed

mate's G/F had sea bass too. Same comments.

Puddings:
me and my mate had chocolate fondant pudding, which was the same as the M&S one on the TV, sponge with melting chocolate oozing out of the centre, BUT BETTER!!!! home made to order.

My wife had eton mess, and as she makes the best meringue EVER, was very impressed with it (chewy meringue rather than hard meringue).

mate's G/F had treacle tart which she fully enjoyed. Homemade too on the premises.

Cost all in was £120 including 5 pints and 4 soft drinks which I thought was very reasonable.

Will try it for carvery one day.

THe service was brilliant, the landlady introduced the waitress, and they were both genuine people.

Also, my wife said she saw a muscly man with tattoos just as we were leaving........ was it Robbie???????

Sounds like a good meal, Pimp. £30.00 per head for what you had sounds like a very fair deal. I had a meal last year which worked out at about £35 per head (including drinks) and it was very average.
