Have just watched River Cottage Autumn this evening and was interested by a new scheme Hugh whatshisname has come up with whereby people with spare land get together with those without who want to grow but have no land. It seems to me that there must be many people in this situation and seems a really good idea.

i know there is a huge waiting list for allotments.i think its a great idea .there is so much wated land .and some people dont have the grdening space to grow veg whilst others do .and dont use it its a win win situation.
