I am fed up of people moaning about Calne so how would you change it?

Calne Needs:
*A better selection of shops
*Phelps Parade modernised (it always looks so dingy)
*People to stop smashing windows in the town
*A proper youth centre which caters for all age groups (from babies to late teens)
*To be a stronger community
Calne can do without:
*So many bloody takeaways
*Dossers who just hang around town all day either outside Sainsburys, the Chip Shop or on the Pigs waiting for the pubs to open/collect their benefits
*All the litter that is lying around on the floor (aren't children taught how to put rubbish in the bins provided anymore???)
*The Big Head - it seems a bit pointless, I know it is suppose to represent Calne looking to the future or something like that but Calne still has one foot stuck in the past)
*People chucking trolleys in the river - WHAT IS THE POINT!!! it doesn't achieve anything

Five needs in calne
better shops
more stuff for the kids to do
much better roads in the town center
more family places.
more parking regulations.(god help the day when there is a fire up braemor or on some of the new estates cos they just are not going to get thruogh.
more police men on the street and the police station manned 24 hours.
calne does not need
dog crap all over the pavements
any more houses whats there all ready is to many
any more charity shops or super markets
also dosnt need anymore hairdressers eight is plenty
all trhe graffiti iun the town
the kids swearing in the street |

What about the Patch of blue?I would callthat a proper tea room.As for a cafe you have the one in phelps parade and you have the marden. |

i am glad i am not the only one to find that the roads on the new estates is cramped.
where is castle mound? |

| Makes me laugh this thing about roads. As roads progressed, they made them wider to make them safer (less head on collisions) now they make them narrower to make them safer. (People slow down to avoid head on collisions). There is a road around these parts that I have actually seen widened then narrowed again in a space of 10 year's, but I cant think where it is now. |
