Has anyone climbed the Tor, I did last year its an amazing experience, when I reached the top the scenery was wonderful and the air lighter there was a true sense of calm up there. :)

That is something that I have never done. I've driven past it loads of times and always wondered. _________________

If you climb the tor at midnight on any warm Summer night and be prepared to spend a few hours there, it is a wonderful experience. Take a warm jacket and something to drink and perhaps a bar of chocolate. You'll not be alone and you'll not be disappointed in the dawn glow across the land. It is a truly magical island. You can even see Camelot in the morning mist. _________________ Democracy is dead. |

I met my wife on Gastonbury tor on a blind date been married 27 years truly magical. Remember ' nous somme du soleil' we are of the sun. Sunrise and sunset are superb up there.
