The lansdown now have a great chef, who has recently moved here from "The Crown" in Swindon , which has a reputation of fantastic food.
Friday night's are "steak nights" and i have two very recent reports that the food is excellent, it costs £10.00 and you get any type of steak you want, with a large salad or veg and bread and a drink of your choice......
We'll be there in the nxt couple of weeks to give it a go .......... but sounds very positive ...

Just thought I should comment on the Lansdowne Strand. I have eaten in there about half a dozen times this year and always been really good.
The food is always very tasty, well cooked and the staff are normally good fun and very good value. Although one of the barmen is a bit unusual.
Go and give it a go. |
