I've always wanted to do scuba diving on all the major exotic reefs around the world and also gaining my pilots licence. Due to a major life change this year I am now taking lessons for both. wooohooo :P

how many lessons do you have to take before being able to fly by your self?

For an international private licence, I need a minimum of 45 hours with a minimum of 10 hours solo. I think I go solo after about 25 hours!................scary!! :lol:

Probably not, a cheap one would start at about £50k.
I would be able to hire one for just over £100 per hour and I'd only need a minimum of 10 flying hours each year to maintain the licence.
The mortgage will very soon be history so I've got to spend that cash somehow eh :lol:
