I get Geddi's drift when he says that intimacy between two people of the same sex is natural to them but may not appear natural to normal couples. What two consenting adults do to each other behind locked doors is upto them.

I think this is still a question of semantics because correspondents on this topic can't quite agree what is and what is not deemed as natural - even though I posted the Oxford English Dictionary definition. Perhaps societies "natural" differs from the dictionary definition? Perhaps the dictionary is too rigid in it's description for societies morals?

Two words come to the fore of this thing -

1/ NATURAL & 2/ NORMAL.

From what I can gather each of these words is subjective.  It, is therefore going to be impossible for us to come to a single agreed status.

I understand that Block insists it is not natural for HIM to have sex with another male.  That is fine and I will not contradict that.  I do wonder how he might feel were someone else to declare something he does as unnatural, simply because it is not what they themselves do?

Whilst Ged has made it quite clear it is natural to HIM, the phrasing of "natural" is not as nature intended.
Having a reproductive organ shoved up ones waste EXIT is not as nature intended, but as prevously stated, it is to the gay community, and therefore is natural to them, and them alone.
Surely, is it not fact that reproductive organs are designed for that said purpose first, reproduction, as nature intended? Therefore, it is not natural in that context. Roll eyes

Without going too far into the mechanics of what is or what is not natural I think it may be time to agree to disagree.

Okay everyone?

Block: very graphic, yet the act you so delicately describe is not contained exclusively within gay couplings.  I agree that 'waste exits' are not the obvious natural choice for coitus, should one wish to procreate.

I also agree to disagree.
