I have on occasion been to Stiles Butchers in Bromham, they do free range chicken, it's so nice.

Also Pork from the farm at sandridge - Westbrook (organic) is great. They have a small farm shop there, nice ..nice meat !
The farm shop on the melksham junction is well worth a trip .

But best of all is the farm shop and garden centre etc at Frome, well worth the trip and it's massive !

Any other suggestions for local produce, please fire away !

Great Thornham farm in Seend (between Devizes and Trowbridge) is one of the best farm shops around. They sell properly matured Aberdeen Angus and Belted Galloway beef, free range Gloucester Old Spot pork, Venison, Lamb, wild rabbit, mutton, goat and free range Chicken - all of which (apart from the chicken) is produced/reared on the farm. They also sell a range of veg, wine and other stocks. They sell a fantastic home made cider called "morning glory" which is very more-ish.

The shop is well sign posted and is about 1/2 mile from Seend towards Trowbridge on the left hand side. You then travel along a tarmac track for about 1/4 mile through the open fields and through the farm live stock.
