I've voted 'No', but just wondered wht the difference between that and the 'should finance it themselves' option is?

i havent voted because I am not at all surprised that we end up financing MPs lifestyles its just a case of the two rule system in practice, one for them and a much reduced one for us.

Just because something wrong has been happening for sometime doesn't mean that it should be continued. I do hope that all these scandals about misuse of public money for MPs does make things change for the better personally and don't accept that they should be permitted to have different rules than the rest of us for matters like this.

Rosco much though I would like to think that things will change for the better because of the current set of scandals regarding MPs use of public money I have come to the conclusion that "Animal Farm" was right it doesnt matter if the change the animal in charge given time they will all have their snout in the trough

They're supposed to be our servants.  It's a great case for the anarchists argument: -

Only sheep need leaders ~ to fleece them!

In answer to the question above, should we fund MPs redecoration of their houses from public monies?

NO!
