parking in somerfields carpark i pulled in to a space next to a car that had no-one in (so i thought!)
Went to get out and couldnt believe what i saw, 3 small babies left on their own in the back of the car!
I would say the eldest was no more than 3yrs old
In this day an age, would you leave your kids?
I wouldn't, when the mother had done her shopping she took a stroll back to her car as if nothing was wrong.......
me being me just could keep my mouth shut and told her off (putting it nicely )
She didnt have alot to say back.....funny that!!
What would you have done?

Good on you for speaking out. I am not even sure that is legal - neglect?
I wonder what would have happened had someone crashed into her car or stolen it? _________________ Democracy is dead. |

Funny enough, i did ask her the same questions!
Asked if she would be ok with the fact they could have been taken, her reply.........of course not!!!!
so why take stupid risks.............no answer, other than i was only gone 5 minutes, asked then how long she thought it would take for someone to take one of the kids from the car? then i got ....
why dont you mind your own
I had 3 kids under 5, in the days that there werent parent toddler spaces right outside the shops, NEVER did i leave them in the car (knowing my luck someone would have taken my car and left my kids ) |

parenting is different depending on who you ask, and some people would consider it a blessing if someone did take their kids. Life can be unfair sometimes, some get kids they don't deserve, some kids get parents they don't deserve. _________________ Democracy is dead. |

I live above a shop and constantly see parents pull up outside and leave kids locked in the car whilst they "POP" in to buy lottery/fags/booze/kids breakfast of Sherbert Dib Dabs/kids lunch of Dairylea Dippers - the usual things people pop to convinience shops for.
It angers me - they should never leave any child on their own in a car, especially nowadays when it only takes seconds for someone to grab them, and it also angers me that they turn the car alarm on to "protect" the kids which is soooooo sensitive the kids only have to breathe to set it off, and the bloody parents ignore it!!! what if someone had got in and were taking the kids, the parents just ignore the alarm all the time!!! _________________ aut viam inveniam aut faciam! |

You would have thought that the lesson on leaving kids alone would have been learnt with the Madeline McCaine case. _________________
