went to the olive tree in calne for a meal over the weekend ,well , worth a visit .The food is good portions ,reasonably priced,tasted homemade .
There was 7 of us the service was quick ,pipeing hot food .
My only negitive comment would be that it lacks atmosphere there was no music to start with when it was played it was sheryl crow ,not really what you would expect for an italian ,the lighting was too bright and it lacked the rustic charm ,but dont let this put you off i would definatly go there again.
Iwould advise to book as it was packed and people was being turned away ,its certainly popular.

went there when first opened. food was good though if you have the mushroom soup starter it was a bit too peppery for my liking but the rest was lovely. will go back again
