about a week ago i noticed that some of my snails died .to be honest i thought they all died there is a diese what kills them.
so i put the tank out side sure enough in a couple of days the tank was full of flys andmaggots the soil was wet with slime and the smell of decay was rank.some snails had maggots coming out of there shell.no sign of movement or activity what so ever.for a week
so not liking the smell at alli chucked the whole tank in the water butt as that needed to be cleaned .tonight 3 days after i put it in there there was a snail escaping.god knows how he survived he has been named lucky and just for tonight is quite happy munching on cucumber and having a wash in the sink.the crap thing is i am going to have to do the tank tomorrow
