I bought Clarissa Dickson-Wright's autobiography yesterday called Spilling The Beans. I bought the book because I love dear old Clarissa and from the first 50 pages that I read last night she didn't have an ideal childhood - often beaten up by her father who even broke some of her ribs during one kicking. So far it has been an enjoyable read, quite funny in parts and sad in others. I will let you know what I think of the book once I finish it.
