only one of them .that whole field is now surrounded by houses.
it has changed so much up there and not really for the better.

Iheard the other day that they are also going to build houses in the field on the left hand side just before you turn left into Derry hill from the calne road ,
is this just a rumour ? |

i think so .from the look of it and from a local resident they are setting that road up for a roundabout.they have widened both derry hill and the studley turn outs on to the a4.
a roundabout would be good.and when the do build on the field then you certainaly will need one.
there is also talk of them building studley side behind where blonts court was.
also blonts cort nurserys are in the process of getting knocked down i really hope that dosnt go to houses.
shelborne has destroyed derry hill and i reall hope he dosnt do the same to studley.
i would like to know his plans though for the field next to the soho (the cricket/football pitchs)
as whats the betting when beever brook is completed that field will also be built on

heard today that what was once blount court nurserys in studley .which has been ripped down .is going to be like the jardinaire garden centre in wroughton.
i really hope this is true as jardenaire is really nice.and it would be so much better than houses.

Nope, I think looking at it it is just a wider junction with a bit more space for people to join the main road. |

its so much easier turning out of studley to go into calne nopw.
not sure why they have built the little islands in the road just pased the new bus stop.

Probably as a refuge so people can cross a lane at the time from the new houses to the bus stop. |

I went past severla times this weekend and that new island is so badly situated and signed, it's surely going to be the site of a new accident I fear! :cry: |

it will be so much worse when those houses get fillied up .i can see someone over taking down there and going straight in to those new islands.
