Does anybody remember Mr Flemming? He was an arty sort of teacher with a moustache. Nice teacher if I remember.

I can also remember Mrs, Green, the Headmistress at Guthrie, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Provins (Dunstan), Mrs. Lewis, Mr Henshaw - Head Master of Dunstan, Mrs. Long, Mr Spreadbury, Mr Lodge, Mrs Evans (there was two) and Norman Weston who was the caretaker (who also used to work for Porter School of motoring on the side).  I left Dunstan in 1982 but I'm sure I've left out some teachers of the two schools in that era. :?

can not remember mrs lomas.i used to love the conrete boat and the humps they had in the play ground they were great fun.also the maror coming at the time i think it was ken hatt (quite a big bloke a lot like brian blessed)coming in at the end of play time and ringing his bell shouting god saved the queen.
wonder if they still do that
The concrete humps have gone, and the concrete boat has been replaced with a wooden one.

We lived next door to John Marchant for a little while before we moved to Australia, he had a bunch of kids and two spaniels, one was deaf. Good bloke, I believe he passed away a little while ago?
Wasn't he the foster home owner?
Lived in north street. Had a Fiat Decato van?
If it is him, then I remember being in Devon on holiday visiting my Auntie, and we went to the local beach. He pulled up with all the kids in his van.

Both miss Evans are very much alive and kicking, and although i'm 41, they still say hello sarah when i see them, they are great, the sort of people you just wanrt to go up and hug.
I remember mr lodge from choir practice.
Also the concrete boat infact i can remember how cool we thought it was, whjen it was first put in.

Sarah
