I started at Dunstan's with Mrs Lewis then changed to Ms. Phillis for my final two years at Dunstan. That was a laff, I remember making stuff out of a load of polystyrene she got hold of. I made this big airplane with a bit of string and we all ran like maniacs around the playground trying to get it to lift off. Wasn't the most aerodynamic brick of foam around...
My house used to back onto Dunstans playing field, and we used to watch the foxes playing when school was out in that little bit of nature reserve at the back.
I certainly remember Mr Henshaw as the headmaster too...
Mrs Lewis had to deal with Phil Rices brother, I remember all the crazy stuff he used to do.

| Mrs Rita Martin still lives in the Calne area and can be seen at least 2 or 3 days a week walking through Phelps Parade. |

I too was in Mrs Lewis's class, I loved that school.
We used to hide in the loft in the PE room and i remember the caretaker coming in and clearing up for about an hour. We got such a telling off, as the teachers were looking for us everywhere and were going to call the police to say we were missing.
Mr Henshaw - Mrs Lewis, Little miss and Big Miss Martin, Mr Wells, Miss Phyllis, Mrs Wiltshire (who i met again last year)
Great times..... |

Yes she was lovely, i remember before the christmas play (joseph) she challenged everyone to an arm wrestling competition to settle our nerves, she was very good and we all ended up with aching arms.
