when we lived in calne 22yrs ago ,if there was any trouble (which wasnt that often ) it was mainly in town or colemans farm area ,then in the paper ages ago i read an a.s.b.o. was on william street ,now the town is getting bigger more houses being built with a wider variaty of people moving there ,therei s such a mixture of private and council houses bunched together the trouble is moving away from the town and into the surrounding area . going on my trip down memory lane walk i was supprised when i walked past this park to see kids as young as 5 playing out on there own when it was getting dark ,the little lads had earings and shaved heads ,i wondered if the mothers was like vicky pollard ,it looked as rough as hell i certainly wouldnt want to live back in calne and bring up my kids there .

daffy the same could be said about any town look atr chippenham people are getting mugged at monkton park.and the activitys in one place at chippenham are diabolical.
any town will have a mixture of private and council houses.
you also get the vicky pollards type anywhere as well so you cant just say that its all in calne i would take a good look around your own nighbour hood. :?

yes those areas do have its fair share of problems but they also have primary schools for that area to cater for the people who live on those estates. Unlike calne where they're all bunched together like grapes.

Look lets face it you could go to any town in the country and some people will always say they dont like it. the real truth is that its us the people who live there that make town what it is and in thruth the majority get what they deserve.
