What you say is so true robert.

The average bobby out there just wants to get on with there jobs, get the crooks off the streets and make our communities safer.

They are made to fill out so much paperwork and do there jobs to such a p.c level, set by the government, that it's made the job impossible to do, in the way it should be.

Robert you think Calne has a ghost police force ..."Scary but true statistic" ........... there were 6 police officers on duty last new years eve in the whole of the swindon area - no not calne ...... swindon !!.

I called the police numerous times last year about those damn mini moto's whizzing past my house, they didn't show after an hour so I almost kicked one of them off. 10 mins later he came back with a friend and a golf club, so i picked up a scaffold pole and asked if i could help him Big Grin

we had several months of peace after that! Big Grin

I do feel sorry for the police, with prioritising and paperwork, unless it is lifethreatening, their hands are tied...........
