I recently joined the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and they occasionally do fungi walks around the local area.

It's amazing that everywhere you look in woodland areas you can find lots of different fungi.

I was a volunteer for WWT (before they changed the name) some 16 years ago. I was not doing fungi walks though. It sometimes takes a spore print and examination to distinguish between species.
No matter, the offer remains.
