-just a thought, how about another section in the index, called the vault or old news, for threads over a year old? - and maybe another one for locked threads?, or unanswered, or for threads that have run their course?
Just a thought, that way some of the old threads that go back to the beginning of the forum could still be read (and maybe locked), so as to avoid repitition??
Hope you get my drift, although some threads could well be rejuvenated!  |

| At present we have no plans to increase the forum's list of sections - unless there is a good idea. All topics automatically move to the back of the pile, so to speak, in their section and can be reactivated at any time by any member by making a new post if they feel there is anything more to add. |

I would like to see the details of the post when I receive an email, as I receive the notification email on my mobile phone, and don't want to log on using GPRS, I just want to read what someone has written, and if it isn't interesting, I'll wait until I get home.
THis is possible on other forums, is it possible on this one?
