As someone who has lived in Studley for a number of years I have always put "Studley, Nr. Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 9NL". When sending letters to people in Derry hill I have always added "Nr. Calne" as well. It's probably unnecessary because of the modern postcode system but that's how I've always done it and I know I'm not the only one.

Have to say i always put on letters "Studley Nr Calne "as well .Its like i always put "Seend Nr Melksham "
