As we keep birds anyhow we have loads in our garden, we used to have them in the front garden to but since the council decided to build on the waste ground opposite our house we dont get any in the front anymore |

Wild bird seed.
We seem to get loads of great tits and chaffinches. With the visits from the local Robin and blackbirds as well as Pidgeons (they seem to eat and eat and eat)
Thinking about putting peanuts out - what do they attract ? |

do not put peanuts outs.the little tits take it feed to there young and there young choke to death.
in furry tails in chippenham you can get nigra seeds and synflower seeds which is a better option than peanuts. |

Thanks Local lass,
I'll pop over there one lunchtime and take a peek, as i work in chippenham.
I guess if peanuts can kill humans, then birds don't really stand a chance ( Don't worry i know for different reasons).
The obvious things to go for i guess are natural seeds local to he birds here. I mean Peanuts ??. just where do they come from ?
Chepfer. |
