Can't say I'd like to se the BNP get in, but seems pretty silly to call the police about it.

I heard some 999 calls on the radio tonigh about some other nonsensical calls to the police, one person saying that they needed help as they were "really stressed" because they couldn't find B&Q, and another wanting to congratulate Tony Blair - what planet are some people on?!
Surprised

Its really daft. The bnp does have a extreme amount of bad press but most of what they want to do is what people want.they just have the balls to say it.
`
I hope the people who did call the police get done fo wasting police time.

Whatever happened to the fundamental right of free speach in this country, something that previous generations fought to the death, literally, to defend. Voltaire I believe it was who said " I might not agree with what you are saying but I would defend your right to say it"

I'm interested by this, what is it that people want and how would this be provided by the BNP?

The right to freedom of speech has always been conditional, and restricted by laws regarding libel, treason, provoking violence, provoking racial hatred etc.

This is the Oxford Dictionary definition of freedom of speech:

Quote:
Liberty to express opinions and ideas without hindrance, and especially without fear of punishment. Despite the constitutional guarantee of free speech in the United States, legal systems have not treated freedom of speech as absolute. Among the more obvious restrictions on the freedom to say just what one likes where one likes are laws regulating incitement, sedition, defamation, slander and libel, blasphemy, the expression of racial hatred, and conspiracy.
- as seen here http://www.answers.com/topic/freedom-of-speech

It's very naïve to think that the right to freedom of speech is one of the BNP's core values. This is, after all, a party that restricts it's membership to "indigenous caucasian" people, and it's deputy leader openly admits is "100 per cent racist, yes".

I find it hard to understand why people deny discrimination within themselves as we all discriminate in one way or another every day of our lives it may be that you wont sit next to a coloured person on the bus or maybe a fat person or maybe you wont look a person in a wheelchair in the eye or perhaps ginger hair is a problem for you so let he who hath not sinned cast the first stone and besides at least owning up to being racist is telling the truth and not hiding behind the facade of liberalism which many do.

Apparently that phrase is offensive!

The correct term is (currently) BME (Black and Minority Ethnic).

Half caste is racist too (correct term is "mixed race")

I had a cousin that married a kiwi.
In the 1991 census, he was classed as an 'Ethnic Minority.'
I cant help but think that the 'white Englshman' is now in the 'Ethnic Minorities.'
Why on earth did we send the convicts to Austrailia? I think we should have their Prime Minister for ourselves. He has the right attitude about immigration.
