I remember the European cup final in 1982 (I think :? ) - bloody awfull game but at least an English team won it again.
I am a Man Utd fan and have followed them (from a 200 mile distance :lol: ) since I was a wee lad in the 1970's when everybody then was supporting Liverpool.

yeah crap final but we'll take it :D not to keen on man utd though.
when villa last won the league in 81 :D they used a total of 12 players for the whole season. that'll never be done agaiin :)

I was funny travelling down to Middlesbrough, it was 2 hours before the game in one of the car parks near their ground, just hanging around with Baxter and a couple of lads and we were all singing at the people going by 'How's your breathing, how's your breathing, how's your breathing smoggie ****'s'
was always fun when the smoggies hosed themselves down and crawled out of their slums.
I suppose it was a similar relationship when scousers were in town for you, as a manc?

Whenever scousers came to town we would wave empty wage packets at them as they had no jobs and it was the only time you would see the Kippax lads joining in with us.
Incidently this post made me remember the best bit of graffitti I ever saw, used to be the other side of the railway bridge at Warwick Road station and read like this
