My travels have been restricted to Europe really because I can't be arsed to go to places like America or Australia (although New Zealand looks quite appealing).

Eire - once
Netherlands - loads, up to four times per year for a while
Belgium - loads!
Luxemburg - passed through on a bus
Switzerland - passed through and stayed a few nights
Lichtenstein - passed through and stayed 2 nights
Germany - lived there for 16 months
France through it - stayed a week on the way
Spain through it - stayed a week on the way
Portugal - through it - stayed a week on the way
Morocco - x 2
Tunisia - x 4
Italy - through it only
Greece - 6 months total
Malta - once
Cyprus - once
Canaries Isles - x 3 (or is it 4?)
Recommend:
South West Crete
Tenerife - off the beaten track
Morocco - head South
Tunisia - head South

Totally agree with that sentiment. We may be taxed up to the Jacobs but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. :thumbr:

Well for me it's,
I've done most of the UK (notice i say Uk not GB). I've not been to Isle of man, which is a country of it's own though.
and have not been to scilly isles but want to .
Then i guess it's Canada (British columbia, Alberta and Manitoba)
U.S.A ( Florida, Michagin and washington)
France ( Britany and Loire atlantique many times)
Belgium (Oostende)
Spain (Malaga and Tarragona areas)
Greece ( Thassos and Skiathos)
Want to get to Finland and Sweden next, i have a friend in Skelleftea in northern Sweden, so would be nice to get up there and eat reindeer etc.
BUt..this year ... it's Blue anchor again in sunny (ohh it better be) west somerset ..... love it down there ...... you can find another, more authentic england down there .... away from the usual noise and snobbery.

Of that small list the only ones I would like to visit again on a more regular basis are Italy, Scotland and Ireland. I have been all over Italy and enjoy not only the scenery but also the people and the cuisine.

Travelled to most parts of the world during my time in the Merchant Navy however the saying is true most of the world I have seen has been the sea.
Following on from the comments about this country and how good it is, back in the 70's I travelled by train to Tehran and the most special sight I saw was the white cliffs of Dover on the return home. Brilliant!!!!!

Spent 4 months in the Falkland Islands in summer courtesy of HM Forces. Wonderful, life changing experience. Wild life fabulous, 34 knot wind was an average day, hence no trees to speak of. Well after all the bullet throwing and explosions stopped. (1995 - 96). Moving experience even so long after the event.
But walking the battlefields (remember the war was in the winter). Stood on the spot where Col H Jones died, partly explains my support for military personnel and Flag flying.
I really admire Simon Weston's positive attitude. Sorry ....... off wandering again.
