WARNINGYesterday there was a knock on my door.I opened it ti find a young lad in his early 20s.
He talked about how at a sum of five pounds per week i could get £100 in gift vouchers for the high street.
Ideal for christmas he showed me the shops what excepted these.
To be honest i was a little busy and asked him for some information and i would look in to it.Judged on what he was saying it sounded quite good and there is a contact number on the back if i wanted to take up his offer.
After things had settled drinking a cup of coffee i looked at the leaflet.
Below is all the shops where the vouchers will be accepted.
so far so good.
but then you come to a section in the leaflet where it states the A.P.R
This part was not mentioned at all by the guy at the door.
So just to warn you if this guy comes to your door dont sign anything untill you get the whole facts.
How any company can charge that sort of A.p.r is astounding.
and i thought syore cards were bad

Also please note alot of these stores listed have signs by the tills that state they only accept certain gift vouchers - I believe the name of the vouchers are Love2Shop or Choice Vouchers (can't remember which), the ones you normally get from the hamper/catalogue clubs

warningI suspect that this would be considered as an unfair credit bargain and could be overturned by taking court action.
