often you can get your carpets fitted by the shop where you bought them ,they usually give you a list of recommended fitters to phone .

I have done that in the past Daffy and been happy with the results but I have heard some horror stories from others who have used that option. I think once you have used a tradesman and been satisfied with the results it pays to stick with them. I had a builder once do a patio for me and the price quoted bore no resemblance to what we paid I wouldn't use them again.

Cyril Dark in Bristol supply and fit. The fitting is FREE. Decent underlay is £3/sq metre. The same stuff they sell in Gardner Haskins in Bristol for £6! Door bars and gripper rods are included in the price for the carpet. We got a lovely beige/cream plain carpet for £10/sq m, its washable and is bombproof.
