swine flu confirmed in calneit was reproted today that a case of swine flu has been confirmed in john bentley school.by a year 8 pupil.

It's already been and gone in Trinity and Preistly and infact where i work too.
I know 4 people with it and they are all well and fighting fit already !

there is alot in calne but people aint all gonna announce that they have it! they will probly stay at home and keep quiet

I'm certainly not going to start panicking!
I am pretty much resigned to the fact that some in my family will get it - luckily in a lot of cases it is mild.........just have to get on with life!!

quite right... there is a bit too much hype about swine flu..the people who have died all had underlying health issues plus the recent satistics from the BHI is that swine flu is on a lower percentage than normal flu...ie there are in this country in normal flu outbreaks 5 -7 thousand a year that die in this country and in a heavy flu year its around the 11-13 thousand die in this country... and thats just our good old normal flu!!!!...so i'm not bothered by it, there are more important things in life and if by chance i did get it and die....well i'm just as like to be killed by a bus or a car crash...so wot, its my time..never mind...least i have hope of being in a better place

There again, if having a mild case of flu meant I could take 2 weeks off work I wouldn't mind !!

We had a call from a parent of a child, in my sons class this morning, her daughter has it and has warned us to look for the symptoms. I was in the Calne swimming pool on sunday with her and in the party room afterwards ....... bring it on lol.
Though she did say , her daughter was quite alright and had a sore throat, tempurature and head ache ...... but was feeling alright with it ..... quite bearable !"
