I did the paper round down there for about 4 or 5 years. So that would be 1981 - 1985 roughly.

As someone who has lived in Studley for a number of years I have always put "Studley, Nr. Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 9NL". When sending letters to people in Derry hill I have always added "Nr. Calne" as well. It's probably unnecessary because of the modern postcode system but that's how I've always done it and I know I'm not the only one.
