Bad snow storm yesterday. All schools were closed. It is now a beautiful day. It will be awhile before I am gardening. Apparently the same storm is now over the Martime Provinces, but much worse. We got about 20cm and the East is expecting up to 40cm.

I wish the uk would get snow like that.If and when we get snow it only lasts a couple of days if we are lucky.

Late November until late March. We have had much above average this year - 48 inches so far.

That must be lovely.If we get a bit of a snow flurry here the country grinds to a complete halt.

Snow for Christmas definitely, sometimes Thanksgiving and Easter.
New snow is the best for photos.

The southern part of the U.S. is similar to you with snow shuting them down.

I used the snowblower on the 8 March and removed about the same amount of
snow as you see on these pictures. On the morning of the 9th I did it again.
It was the most snow I have seen, since coming to Brantford, five years ago. Tonight the
roads are all clear and everything is fine. I hope this is the last for 2008. It has been a brutal winter particularly since about February 1.
