With all the rain we are having slugs are every where.

hedgehogs love slugs also a saucer or dish of beer...they like a drink   we have a walled garden and so get both slugs and snails in the hundreds

You can kill slugs and snails with a good pinch of salt but it's not a very quick death for them. The best way of killing them with out chemical aids is to go out at night with a torch and a big knife and chop up any that you find.

Give salt to your kids. Its excellent. keeps kids out the way for a bit as well.

Slugs hate copper wire ideal if you have plants in pots as just wrap copper wire round about half way up.slugs will not pass it.

Have you ever seen slugs mating ? there was 3 pairs of sluggs at it the other morning and it was only 645am !
