slugsapart from slug pellets are there any other methords you use to get rid of slugs?
With all the rain we are having slugs are every where. :twisted:

hedgehogs love slugs also a saucer or dish of beer...they like a drink :shock: :D we have a walled garden and so get both slugs and snails in the hundreds :?

You can kill slugs and snails with a good pinch of salt but it's not a very quick death for them. The best way of killing them with out chemical aids is to go out at night with a torch and a big knife and chop up any that you find.

Give salt to your kids. Its excellent. keeps kids out the way for a bit as well.

Slugs hate copper wire ideal if you have plants in pots as just wrap copper wire round about half way up.slugs will not pass it. :D

:wink: POUR A BIT OF WASHING POWDER ON THEN AND WATCH THEM FIZZ ! my children love going out in the garden after it rains with the big tub of cooking salt >
Have you ever seen slugs mating ? there was 3 pairs of sluggs at it the other morning and it was only 645am !
